About the Author
I’m Thomas, a creative technologist living in Japan, exploring the world around me. I’m in love with the new and frequently distracted by the shiny. I started One to Better inspired by the book Atomic Habits and James Clear’s 1% Philosophy framework for continuous growth.
For decades, my life has revolved around Japan, photography, technology, creativity, and curiosity. One to Better is my little corner of the internet—a digital journal where I share photos, quotes, thoughts, and the things that interest or inspire me. From art, culture, and design to philosophy, photography, and technology, it’s a minimal continuation of my last blog, Shoot Lighter, which I’m in the process of transferring elements of to One to Better before shutting it down.
Today’s One Thing is a simple framework I’ve devised to help me post regularly, based on the book The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. It allows for more random posts, which matches my eclectic way of thinking.
Everything here is a work in progress, including me. How I write and what I write about may—and probably will—evolve.
In fact, I’m counting on it.
Thanks for stopping by.
